Cornwall is historically understood to be a top sea side destination, boasting some of the best beaches in the country that include several Blue Flag beaches like Carbis Bay in St Ives, Gllynvase Beach in Falmouth and Porthemmit beach in North Cornwall. Aside from the beaches, there are plenty of attractions and places to go to in Cornwall including :

1 ) The Eden Project, St AustellThe Eden Project located in St Austell, is on the the UK's top gardens and conservations holiday maker attractions.

2 ) Newquay Zoo, NewquayExperience the world's wildlife with Cornwall's prize-winning Newquay Zoo.

three ) National Maritime Museum, FalmouthThe National Maritime Museum and Royal Observatory, Greenwich, have a collection of over 2,000,000 objects about the sea, ships, astronomy and time.

4 ) Land's EndLands End has struck at peoples imagination for generations, being a place of about mystical beauty where the might of the Atlantic meets the towering cliffs of Cornwall.

5 ) Geevor Tin Mine, Land's EndClosed as a working mine in 1990, it's currently a saved mining site and museum managed by Pendeen Community Heritage.


six ) Minack Theatre, PenzanceThe Minack Theatre is an open-air theatre, built above a gully with a rocky granite outcrop pushing into the sea ( minack in Cornish means a stony or rocky place ). The theatre is found near Porthcurno, four miles from Land's End.

7 ) St Michael's Mount, PenzanceThrough the centuries St Michaels Mount has been a rich port, a monastery, a fortress, a film set and a home. Now one of Cornwalls most motivating tourist destinations, the Mount welcomes over two hundred thousand visitors every year.

8 ) Tate studio, St IvesThe Tate studio extension in St Ives, Cornwall opened in 1993. It presents modern art created in, or linked with, Cornwall. It is a custom built studio, on the location of the old city gasworks, and has amazing views over the coast. It is owned by the Cornwall County Council and managed by the Tate. The building is striking, and is chock-full of light and viewpoints suitable for exhibiting paintings, sculptures and ceramics

nine ) paradise Park, St IvesParadise Park - one of Cornwall's top wildlife sanctuaries is close by on the main road out of St Ives to Hayle, home to the World Parrot Trust as well as otters, squirrels and birds.The Park is set around a Victorian walled garden, and features tropical plants which prosper in Cornwall's mild climate. The JungleBarn indoor play centre provides plenty of active fun for children whatever the weather.
